How can we use AI responsibly? That question helped drive discussions during the Center on Responsible AI and Governance (CRAIG) Industry Advisory Board meeting at Mason Hall on The Ohio State University campus.

Researchers, industry leaders, and advisors shared how their organizations are developing frameworks and best practices for responsible AI while exploring opportunities for future collaboration and research.

Funded by the National Science Foundation and housed at Moritz, CRAIG brings together researchers from Ohio State, Baylor University, Northeastern University, and Rutgers University to advance AI that is safe, accurate, impartial, and accountable.

Congratulations to Judge Matthew Byrne '07 on his nomination to serve on the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio.

Currently serving on Ohio's Twelfth District Court of Appeals, Byrne has built a distinguished career in law and public service since graduating from the Moritz College of Law.

New scholarship from Moritz Professor Marc Spindelman explores one of the most closely watched constitutional law decisions of recent years.

In United States v. Skrmetti: On Realism, Reason, and Hope, Spindelman examines the Supreme Court's equal protection analysis and considers the decision's broader implications for constitutional law and civil rights.
