The International Data Evaluation Center (IDEC) is an ongoing research project of the School of Teaching and Learning in the College of Education and Human Ecology at The Ohio State University. The International Data Evaluation Center’s primary mission is to process evaluation research data for all Reading Recovery® programs in the United States. It fulfills a condition of the Reading Recovery tra

demark, which grants free use of the name and logo under the condition, among others, that all teacher training sites report on each child served to The Ohio State University, the holder of the trademark. This mandate is explained in the Standards and Guidelines of Reading Recovery in the United States published by the Reading Recovery Council of North America. IDEC operates this web site to enable Reading Recovery and Descubriendo la Lectura teachers and teacher leaders to enter data and download reports and datasets. IDEC also publishes a variety of research reports and is engaged in several research initiatives.
