5:30–5:45 PM – Annual Title I Parent Meeting (Auditorium)

5:45–6:30 PM – Open House (visit classrooms)

This is a great opportunity to learn more about our school, meet your child’s teachers, visit classrooms, and hear important information about how we are working together to support student success.

A HUGE thank you to Columbus Parks and Recreation, Community Schools Division Manager Samantha Thies, and Jon and Dan for stopping by Johnson Elementary with some special appreciation goodies for our teachers and staff!!

We are so grateful for community partners who support our school and recognize the people who pour into our Jaguars every day. Team Johnson—your goodies are coming soon! 😊

And while we’re shouting out Columbus Parks and Rec, we have to give them another plug! Columbus Parks and Rec operates our after-school program right here at Johnson every school day, and their team provides wonderful support for our students.

Jaguar Phonics 🐆📚

A whiteboard is in the cafeteria where students can add words that follow the phonics pattern for the week! It’s a fun way to encourage our kiddos to practice their phonics skills throughout the day.

A huge thank you to Mrs. Prince for the wonderful idea, and to Mrs. Prince and Mrs. Hoefler for making sure we keep this activity going for our students throughout the year! ❤️
