My students have been WORKING! 🔥👏

We’re only 3 weeks into school, and they’ve already completed 3 live work projects and are ready for more! 💻🎨

Meanwhile, our Intro to Graphic Design students are putting their creativity to work by designing futuristic cell phones out of cardboard boxes… literally thinking OUTSIDE the box! 📦📱✨

I’m so proud of the creativity, effort, and problem-solving I’m seeing already. This is just the beginning!

What an incredible way to kick off the new school year! It was exciting meeting our incoming freshmen and welcoming them to the ACAD Magnet family as well. The energy, enthusiasm, and excitement in the room made us even more ready for an amazing year ahead.

Real work. Real clients. Real growth.

Our Graphic Design Magnet students are stepping beyond the classroom through our Live Work Program, taking on authentic projects that build both skill and confidence. Recently, they designed and produced a custom backdrop for the 180° Student Awards Program with the Muscogee County School District.

From concept to completion, these students experienced what it truly means to work in the design and printing industry, meeting client needs, collaborating as a team, and bringing ideas to life in a meaningful way.

Proud is an understatement. This is what learning looks like when it matters.

ACAD Magnet Students had the opportunity to visit the Museum of Design Atlanta, where they explored the powerful role design plays in shaping our world.

Through interactive exhibits and discussions, students examined how design can unintentionally create injustice, but also how it can be used as a tool for equity, inclusion, and positive change. From technology to public spaces, they learned that every design decision impacts real people.

This experience challenged our students to think critically, ask important questions, and recognize their own responsibility as future creators, leaders, and problem solvers.
