Today we celebrated three incredible students from Eddy Middle School as they officially signed to join Kendrick High School’s Magnet Program! We are so excited to welcome these future Cherokees to the family and cannot wait to see all they accomplish. Congratulations on this exciting next step, and welcome to the Kendrick family!

Our Graphic Design Magnet students are stepping beyond the classroom through our Live Work Program, taking on authentic projects that build both skill and confidence. Recently, they designed and produced a custom backdrop for the 180° Student Awards Program with the Muscogee County School District.

From concept to completion, these students experienced what it truly means to work in the design and printing industry, meeting client needs, collaborating as a team, and bringing ideas to life in a meaningful way.

Proud is an understatement. This is what learning looks like when it matters.

Kendrick High School’s Magnet teachers representing excellence and creativity at Creative South—continuing to grow, connect, and bring industry-level inspiration back to our students.

ACAD Magnet Students had the opportunity to visit the Museum of Design Atlanta, where they explored the powerful role design plays in shaping our world.

Through interactive exhibits and discussions, students examined how design can unintentionally create injustice, but also how it can be used as a tool for equity, inclusion, and positive change. From technology to public spaces, they learned that every design decision impacts real people.

This experience challenged our students to think critically, ask important questions, and recognize their own responsibility as future creators, leaders, and problem solvers.
