Our Story

Mary’s Little Lamb is founded on empowering families in the intercity. We cater to families in need of quality childcare in impoverished communities. Our program is designed to develop the community, by aiding the families in the area with resources such as education, food and togetherness. Our facility ensures and enforces a safe and healthy environment. We empathize with parents that can’t afford to send their children to the best schools due to, expensive tuition and lack of quality based upon the community they live in. It is very hard to focus, when you’re at work pondering if you child is getting the proper education and the care needed to excel in our society. Our program aims to put the parents mind at ease. Our childcare program provides the students with an age appropriate curriculum. Some students experience problems difficulties in school ranging from problems with concentration, reading, math and problem solving with peers. Our childcare center facilitates learning at an accelerated level of understanding, empowering our students and family.

Mary’s Little Lamb Childcare was established in 2008 as a Type B home based childcare. The Childcare center was founded after Mary Ann Martin. Mrs. Martin was also an owner of a Type B home based childcare. She leaves behind her legacy of compassion for others. As well as her ability to empower anyone she came in contact with. We decided to take her legacy to next level and expanded our home based childcare business to a childcare center in September 2014. We have serviced a wide range of families in this short time. We provide families with quality childcare, resources that are available in the community, clothes, food and so much more. We strive to be the hub of unity that the community needs.
