Join us in honoring AANHPI Heritage Month as we celebrate the history, traditions and achievements of Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians and Pacific Islanders! Our students enjoy books written by AANHPI authors, like "Grandpa Across the Ocean" by Hyewon Yum, and folk songs from our Harmony and Heart® music collection, like "Sakura," to learn about the importance of celebrating many cultures and backgrounds. What's your child's favorite book or song by a AANHPI creator?

This week in Pre-School, we are loving all of the center enhancements that are being offered! Each week, our Primrose curriculum offers multiple different choices for the teachers to enhance the centers for students to choose from. For the Dramatic Play center this week, the students get to participate in a farmer’s market, pretending to be both a customer and a cashier! In their Sensory center, they are getting messy while learning about different plant parts and different items that would be needed to maintain a garden. At the Math center, the students are filling in patterns using spring themed photos. What a fun way to learn while really playing the whole time!

We are excited to celebrate Ms. Parsons 2nd Anniversary!
As our older infant teacher, Ms. Parsons is truly one of a kind. She brings so much patience, kindness, and warmth to her classroom every single day. Her nurturing spirit creates a loving environment where our youngest learners feel safe, supported, and ready to grow.
She consistently delivers the “wow” in all she does and approaches each day with genuine joy— it’s something you can feel the moment you walk into her classroom.
We are grateful for the love and care she pours into our school community. Please help us congratulate Ms. Parsons on two amazing years!

Happy National ASL Day! 👋 Did you know children can begin learning American Sign Language as early as 6 months old? At our school, students explore signs for everyday words and phrases using engaging ASL cards and meaningful one‑on‑one moments with their teachers. These early experiences help strengthen communication skills and build confidence. Does your child have a go‑to sign they love to use? 🤟❤️
When teachers shine, children do too. ✨

Og’s Bountiful Book Drive continues to inspire young readers and big hearts. 📚💛
Each year, Primrose students practice giving without expectation through meaningful service‑learning experiences that help them see the positive impact they can make in the world.
This year, Primrose families, teachers, staff and Franchise Owners nationwide donated over 109,000 books to children in need — that’s 14,000 more books than last year! 🎉
We’re so proud of the generosity within our Primrose community and the joy of storytelling these books will spark for so many children. 📖✨

“Telling the truth is not always easy, but it’s always worth it.” – Peanut the Pony
And the award goes to… 🏆
Our very own Primrose Friend Peanut the Pony just took home the Most Honest Award, and we couldn’t be prouder. Through stories, music and role-play, Peanut helps students learn why honesty matters every day.
Way to go, Peanut! 🎉
At Primrose, teachers bring so much heart to each day, from engaging curious minds to providing gentle guidance for big feelings.
They build trusted relationships, lead with warmth and know every tiny personality in and out, from who loves the weather chart to who insists on being the unofficial greeter. (It’s a superpower. We checked.)
They weave character-building moments into everyday routines and create learning experiences that feel joyful, calm and connected.
But what matters most is how the children in their care feel: supported, encouraged and excited to explore. That is the foundation of a lifelong love of learning.
Here’s a closer look at what makes Primrose teachers so special. 💛

Books have a special way of bringing people together, and Read Across America Day is the perfect moment to celebrate how stories spark imagination, connection and confidence in young readers. ✨📚
It’s also the final day of Og’s Bountiful Book Drive, a tradition that encourages Primrose students to share big-hearted generosity by donating stories they love to children in their communities. Their kindness helps the joy of reading travel even farther. ❤️
To keep the celebration going, The Primrose Friends are helping a story make its way across the country.

Across the country, Primrose schools honored Black history and bright futures through hands-on activities, inspiring classroom experiences, powerful stories, music, art and some very special guests. ❤️📚✨
In classrooms, students explored influential Black leaders, artists, scientists and changemakers in ways that helped them see themselves and each other reflected in the stories being shared.
From read-alouds and student-created museums to rotating workshops and creativity-sparking activities, each experience supported confidence, curiosity and a strong sense of belongingness. 🫶 Here are a few highlights from the celebrations.
Primrose school teachers pour so much heart into the children and families they serve, and we can’t wait to share some very bright things ahead for them. ❤️🔥 Any guesses what’s on the horizon? 👀

“The look on my daughter’s face when I stepped into her classroom was a moment I’ll never forget,” said Captain Call. “After being away from her for so long, getting to surprise her meant everything to me. I’m so grateful to the Primrose team for helping make this homecoming so special.”
After a five-month deployment, Captain Call surprised her young daughter in her classroom at the Primrose School of Yukon, creating an unforgettable moment filled with shock, joy and pure excitement!

“I love reading about princesses… because I’m a princess.” 👑📚
It’s moments like this that make reading so special. Primrose students bring big imagination (and even bigger confidence!) to the stories they love — and those everyday moments help spark a lifelong love of learning.
Experiences like Og’s Bountiful Book Drive (inspired by our Primrose Friend, Og the Bookworm) give children the chance to share that love by donating new and gently used books to others in their community. It’s a simple, sweet way they learn what it means to care for others. 💛
