Wyatt Graffin throws 60-04 to place 2nd! Wyatt was leading the competition up until the very end! He earns his third straight silver medal at state!

Wyatt ends his career as the best male athlete in Columbus history! We wish him the best of luck as he heads off to Central Michigan!🐐

Payton Dornaus medals again in the 300mh! She places 4th in an extremely fast field! She ran 44.58!

This is Payton’s 4th state medal, she has now medaled in both hurdle events in back to back years!

🚨 STATE MEDALIST & SCHOOL RECORD 🚨

Payton Dornaus breaks Amanda Weihert’s 100mh record! The record had stood since 2000, Weihert was a former 2 time champion of the event!

Payton finished 5th in the fastest hurdle race in state history running a time of 14.48! A race where 8 girls ran 15.00 or better.

This is Payton’s 3rd state medal and 7th school record of her historic career!

🏆 State Meet – Finals Day

One more day on Wisconsin's biggest stage.

After a strong opening day, our Cardinals are back in action today looking to finish the season with great performances and compete for state medals.

Competing Today:

Payton Dornaus– 100m Hurdles Finals
Payton Dornaus– 300m Hurdles Finals
Josee Downing– 200m Dash Finals
Wyatt Graffin-Shot Put

These athletes have earned the opportunity to compete among the best in the state through months of hard work, dedication, and commitment. Today is about trusting the process, competing with confidence, and embracing the moment.

We're proud of everything they've accomplished to get here and excited to see them compete one more time this season.

Payton Dornaus is headed to the State Finals in the 300m Hurdles!

Payton won her heat and broke her own school record, running 43.85 to earn a spot in tomorrow's final.

An incredible performance and another piece of program history!
