In honor of America 250, the Medical Heritage Center (MHC) currently highlights the lasting contributions of medical professionals whose military service helped shape both Army medicine and modern healthcare.

"Together, the Medical, Nurse and Dental Corps demonstrate the transformation of Army medicine into a coordinated, specialized system that continues to shape both military and civilian healthcare," remarked Kristin Rodgers, the MHC collections curator. "The MHC collections preserve the stories of several medical professionals whose civilian careers and military service reflect this history."
