102 years ago today, ethnic was divided by the Treaty of and massive genocidal acts, discriminatory, and assimilation policies followed by , , and . In July 2013, the United hosted the largest academic conference - 4th UMD Global Conference - to date, on this topic, in honor of the 100th anniversary, and the hundreds of thousands of Macedonians who have lost their lives fighting for a free, independent, and sovereign Republic of Macedonia! We brought 44 scholars from 12 different countries to present on this topic, and you can see their presentations on the following link.
