Katrina Laffey has a gift for creating learning experiences that are accessible, memorable and meaningful for every child. 💡

In three years at Primrose School of South Charlotte and 12 years with Primrose overall, Ms. Laffey has built a Pre-K environment that is warm, creative and inclusive. Dramatic play centers change into gardens and coffee shops, a sensory table becomes an invitation to explore and every activity is introduced with genuine enthusiasm.

Ms. Laffey doesn’t just teach. She builds experiences children and families carry with them long after the school year ends. ❤️

You may see the packed calendar, the unfinished to-do list or the moments when you wish you could do more.

Your child sees something different. ❤️

They see the hug before drop-off. The excitement at pickup. The encouragement that helps them try again. The familiar routines that remind them they are safe, supported and loved.

This Working Parents Day, we’re celebrating every parent balancing so much while continuing to show up with love. You are making more of a difference than you know.

Share this with a working parent who needs to hear it today. 📨

The best part of a new school year might just be the stories that come home each day.

The new friend they met. The picture they're proud of. The classroom tradition they can't stop talking about. The little moments that help school start to feel like a second home. ✨

Across Primrose schools, students are settling into new routines, building connections and creating memories that families will remember long after this school year ends.

Angela Levingston has spent 24 years turning everyday lessons into unforgettable learning experiences. 🌟

In Mrs. Levingston’s classroom, a sheet of yellow poster board becomes a New York City skyline, simple materials transform into a three-ring circus, and a classroom wall turns into the world of Charlotte’s Web.

Behind every transformation is purposeful teaching: smooth transitions, clear expectations and meaningful learning woven into each experience. She proves again and again that extraordinary education is both an art and a science.

Her impact lives in the confidence she builds, the character she nurtures and the guidance she shares with colleagues. Twenty-four years in, Mrs. Levingston is still the standard. ❤️

🌟 Staff Spotlight: Ms. Clark! 🌟
This week, we are so excited to put the spotlight on our wonderful infant teacher, Ms. Clark! Ms. Clark’s journey at our school took an exciting turn when she made the jump from teaching preschool-aged children to our infant room. While she loved working with the older kids, it didn't take long for her to discover where her true passion lies. Once she started spending her days with our smallest learners, she fell head over heels—and she’s officially declared that the infant room is where her heart belongs! If you’ve ever walked past her classroom, you already know why she’s so beloved. Ms. Clark is the definition of patient, kind, and incredibly loving. When she isn’t guiding our babies through creative early-learning curriculum, you can almost always find her snuggled up in a rocking chair, gently lulling a little one to sleep. What makes Ms. Clark so special is her ability to connect with every single child. She literally and figuratively gets down on their level, meeting them right where they are and joyfully celebrating every tiny milestone—from a first roll-over to a brand-new giggle. Thank you, Ms. Clark, for making our infant room such a cozy, joyful, and nurturing space. We are so lucky to have you! 💕

Looking for a warm, loving, and enriching environment where your little one can thrive? From our tender infant care with amazing teachers like Ms. Clark to our engaging early education programs, we’d love to welcome your family into ours.
