Exciting news, Columbus Zoo guests! Starting October 28, the Zoo is going cashless to make your visits smoother, safer, and even more fun. This change isn’t just about faster checkouts – it’s a step toward a more sustainable future as we continue our mission of empowering people and saving wildlife.

Here’s what to keep in mind:

😊 Pay Your Way: Use your favorite payment methods like Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, or Google Pay.

💲 Still Have Cash? No worries! We’ve got pre-paid debit card machines on-site, so you can swap cash for a prepaid card at no extra cost (and you can use the card after you leave the Zoo, too!)

🌎 Why Go Cashless? It’s quicker, more secure, and helps us take a step toward a greener, more sustainable Zoo.

🍂 It's time for the Fall Color Driving Tour!🍁 This is a great way to enjoy the beautiful leaves in areas of the park that are not normally open to the public. Just drive into the park and follow the signs for the full experience! Tour route closes at dark.

❗️We are expecting peak colors to appear between October 28th and November 5th, so plan accordingly!

Clothing Distribution starts tomorrow at 8:30 am. Clothing Distribution takes place Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm except for major holidays and September 25. Please plan on arriving on the scheduled day listed in your email, pull up to a numbered spot and text us your spot number and the six digit number in your email. You are then welcome to stay in your car until your clothing packages are distributed to your vehicle. If you have not applied for clothing yet and you are eligible, it’s not too late!
