Tonight, we celebrated more than graduation — we celebrated growth, perseverance, faith, friendship, and the many memories made along the way at Saint Mary.

As our 8th grade graduates turn the page to their next chapter, we pray they carry with them the lessons learned, the love of this community, and the confidence to boldly follow where God leads.

As we wrap up an unexpected end to the school year, we wanted to send a reminder regarding student belongings pickup tomorrow.

Parents and students are invited to pick up school belongings during the following times and locations:

• Preschool – 3rd Grade: Front turf area of the main building
• 4th - 5th Grade: Inside the Specht Center
• 6th – 7th Grade: Middle school Picnic Tables

For families who ordered yearbooks, those will be available for pickup at the Main Building as well. While this certainly looks different than our traditional final days together, we are grateful this gives us an opportunity to reconnect, say goodbye, and wish one another a wonderful summer.

While today’s Awards Ceremony looked a little different than tradition, it was still a joyful and meaningful celebration of our incredible graduating 8th grade class.

We were honored to recognize our students’ hard work and achievements through multiple scholarship awards from our feeder schools, Home & School Association, Athletic Association, and even the inaugural Luke Hanson “Say Yes to Mary Award.” Following the awards, each 8th grade student received a peer-voted superlative, adding plenty of smiles and special memories to the morning.

We are so proud of this remarkable class and look forward to celebrating them once again at graduation tomorrow evening. 💙🎓

While our school buildings remain closed due to the sewer line emergency, we wanted to share a few important updates.

Our custodial team (Mr. Tom with Mr. And Mrs. Roupe) along with Servpro have been hard at work disinfecting and preparing portions of the building, and we remain in close communication with the City of Columbus and the Health Department as repairs and inspections continue.

Most importantly — some of our cherished end-of-year traditions are still happening. ❤️

At this time, Saint Mary School is officially on Summer Break while repairs, remediation, and safety assessments continue. We know this disruption—especially during the final week of school—is disappointing and challenging for families, and we sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through this unexpected situation.

Middle school… here they come! 🎉 Earlier this week, our 5th graders had the opportunity to get a sneak peek into life at Middle School during our annual transition visit. Students rotated through stations where they connected with current middle schoolers, practiced lockers, asked questions, enjoyed snacks, and learned more about academics, expectations, and daily life in middle school.

A huge thank you to our middle school student leaders, teachers, and volunteers who helped make this experience so welcoming and encouraging. We love watching our Rams support one another and help build excitement for the journey ahead! 🐏💙

Our 3rd graders turned Heritage Hall into a wildlife learning experience this week as they presented their Endangered Species projects!

Each student researched an endangered animal and confidently shared what they learned with peers, parents, grandparents, and other visitors. From fascinating facts to important conservation lessons, their hard work and creativity were on full display.

We are so proud of the dedication these students showed and grateful for the reminder that we are all called to be good stewards of God’s creation and care for His animals. 💚🌎

Some of our students can add fashion designer to their resume! Ms. Hardy partnered with our students to dream, design, and create religiously inspired collaborative t-shirt artwork and the results are incredible! ✨

Students worked together to bring their creative visions to life, and then their classmates voted to help select their favorite designs. Now, the top seven student-created designs have officially become real t-shirts!
