Congratulations to Palmyra-Eagle Golfer Arik Patrick! Arik earned Academic All-State Honors from the Wisconsin Golf Coaches Association!

Golfers who are sophomores, juniors, or seniors with a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher, and who competed in at least 75% of the varsity matches in the current season, are eligible to receive this honor.
Golfers must be nominated by their coach who must be a member of the Wisconsin Golf Coaches Association.

RIENER AND HYATT QUALIFY FOR SECTIONALS!

The Panther golf team competed at Regionals today at Ives Grove Golf Course in Sturtevant.

Junior Dylan Riener qualified for Sectionals shooting an 86 and finishing tied for 4th place overall.

Senior Konrad Hyatt also qualified to move onto Sectionals shooting a 94 and finishing in 11th place overall.

Junior Arik Patrick also competed in his first Regional and finished strong in his first season golfing.

Congratulations and good luck at Sectionals Dylan and Konrad.

The duo will compete at Sectionals next Tuesday or Wednesday at South Hills in Fond du lac.

JUNIOR DYLAN RIENER EARNS ALL CONFERENCE HONORS

The Panther golf team finished the regular season last Thursday at the 18 hole conference tournament at Old Hickory Golf Course in Beaver Dam.

Junior Dylan Riener finished in a tie for 7th at the tournament out of 56 golfers carding an 85.

Riener’s average over the 6 mini meets and conference tournament earned him 1st TEAM ALL CONFERENCE honors.

Congratulations to Dylan and the Panther golf team on a great regular season.

RIENER SHOOTS CAREER BEST AT WILLIAMS BAY CONFERENCE MINI MEET.

Junior Dylan Riener shot a career best today at Delbrook Golf Course carding a 37 to keep him in 2nd place in conference scoring after two meets. Teammate and first year golfer Arik Patrick also posted a career best 49. Konrad Hyatt rounded out the scoring with a 51.
The boys play the 3rd mini meet on Monday at Horicon Hills before returning home to host at Evergreen Golf Course in Elkhorn on Thursday.

Panthers Compete at Regionals. Reiner Advances to Sectionals

The Panther golf team competed in the Williams Bay Regional at Delbrook Golf Course on Tuesday.
The Panthers finished in 5th place overall missing moving on to Sectionals as a team by just one spot and 13 strokes.
Senior Daniel Riener will move on to Sectionals as an individual as he tied for 4th place overall out of 38 golfers carding an 80.
Senior Brady Koopman finished 2nd on the team with a 97. Junior Riley Schneider shot a 103, freshman Dylan Riener finished with a 104 and junior Charlie Hyatt a 107.
Daniel Riener tees off at 8:24 am on Wednesday, June 1st at The Oaks Golf Course in Madison where he will compete to qualify for the state tournament.

RIENER CARDS SCHOOL RECORD 74 AS PANTHERS CLOSE OUT CONFERENCE SEASON

The Panthers closed out the 2022 conference season in the Trailways Conference Tournament at Kestrel Ridge Gold course in Columbus this past week which included all 12 teams from the North and South Divisions.
Senior Daniel Riener broke another school record carding a 74 good for 2nd place in the conference tournament and securing him 1st Team All Conference Honors for the second year in a row. Riener shot a 40 on the front 9 but finished hot with an even par 34 on the back.
The Panther team finished in 6th place out of the 12 teams in the tournament.
It was also the last conference match for seniors Brady Koopman and Kevin Holcomb. A big thank you to all of our Panther seniors.
Rounding out the scoring for the Panthers were junior Riley Schneider (99), freshman Dylan Riener (100) and senior Kevin Holcomb (106).

The Panthers now move onto Regionals on Tuesday, May 24th at Delbrook Golf Course, in Delevan, hosted by Williams Bay.

RIENER BREAKS SCHOOL RECORD AND IS THE MEET MEDALIST AS PANTHERS SHOOT SEASON BEST AT HOME MEET!
The Panthers took advantage of playing at their home course, Evergreen Golf Course in Elkhorn. The team shot their season best 9 hole score and finished in 2nd place in the 6 team Trailways South Conference behind defending champ and state qualifier Madison Country Day/Abundant Life.

Daniel Riener was not only the meet medalist shooting a 1 under par 35, he also broke the school record. Riener carded an eagle and a birdie en route to his subpar round. Charlie Hyatt finished 2nd on the team and also shot a career best carding a 46. Kevin Holcomb finished with a 50 and Brady Koopman with a 55 to round out the Panthers scoring of 186. AJ Plotz also golfed Varsity but did not figure in the scoring this meet.
Riley Schneider finished with a 51, Konrad Hyatt a 57 and Dylan Riener a 59 on the JV.

PANTHERS FINISH 3rd IN FIRST CONFERENCE MINI MEET

The Panthers traveled to Horicon on Monday to play in their first conference mini meet at Horicon Hills Golf Course. The Panthers shot a 208 and finished in 3rd place behind Madison Country Day/Abundant Life and Parkview while beating Pardeeville, Williams Bay and Horicon.
Senior Daniel Riener tied for 2nd place shooting a 38 with a birdie, 6 pars and 3 bogeys to lead the Panthers. Kevin Holcomb finished with a 54, Charlie Hyatt a 55 and Brady Koopman a 61 to round out the 4 counting scores. Riley Schneider also golfed Varsity in the match but did not figure in the meet scoring as only the top 4 scores count.
The Panthers also had 2 players golf in the JV match. AJ Plotz finished with a 57 and Konrad Hyatt shot a 72 in his first ever high school match.

The Panthers hit the links again this Friday in a non-conference matchup at Yahara Hills against Madison West coached by Palmyra-Eagle alumni Rob Sorensen
