Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated pauses today to honor all those who gave their lives in service to this nation. We are anchored in their legacy, shaped by their sacrifice, humbled by their courage, and committed to living out the values they protected.

The Columbus Metropolitan Alumnae Chapter is raising awareness about period poverty—the inability to afford menstrual products as well as limited access to education, clean facilities, and supportive policies. These barriers can keep people from fully participating in school, work, and daily life.

Today, two in five people who menstruate struggle to afford period supplies. One meaningful way to help address this issue is by supporting product drives that provide essential items to those in need.

Menstrual Hygiene Drive
We invite you to support our chapter’s menstrual hygiene drive benefiting local schools in recognition of World Menstrual Hygiene Day.

• Individually wrapped panty liners
• Pads with wings
• Unscented tampons
• Period panties
• Individually packed sensitive/hypoallergenic wipes

In recognition of , Columbus Metropolitan Alumnae Chapter Of Delta Sigma Theta, Inc. partnered with Columbus Technical College and Radiant Real Estate Services, LLC for a Financial Freedom Lunch and Learn! Today’s Financial Freedom event was a powerful reminder that collaboration creates impact. When community leaders, educators, professionals, and families come together with a shared commitment to growth, lives are strengthened through access to knowledge, resources, and opportunity. Conversations became strategy, connections became empowerment, and education became action. CMAC is proud to support spaces where collaboration helps build stronger futures, informed decisions, and pathways toward lasting financial wellness.

Real change happens when communities work together, and today was an impactful example of what is possible when purpose meets partnership.

Off Court Conversations 🏀✨

Columbus Metropolitan Alumnae Chapter in Partnership with Russell County Middle School is creating space for real, empowering conversations that go beyond the game. In preparation for World Menstrual Hygiene Day, this impactful workshop series is designed to equip and uplift the next generation of young women.

This session will support 8th grade girls at Russell County Middle School through open dialogue and education around:
• Menstrual cycles and cognitive functioning
• Hygienic practices
• Feminine hygiene products
• Cycle tracking and awareness
