Parkside Pirates

They’re off to middle school! 🎓🎉 But, “Once a Pirate, Always a Pirate!” We are so happy to have gotten to watch them grow and feel confident they are ready for the challenge and adventure of their next chapter.

Teacher Appreciation Week was incredible thanks to our amazing PTO, community partners, and parents! We loved all of the delicious food and drinks, gift cards, and getting a restock of all of our favorite hand soaps! THANK YOU - we are the luckiest to have all of you on our team! 🍎

☀️Field Day 2026 is in the books! ☀️ It was a wild, wonderful day celebrating all of the hard work and growth of our Parkside Pirates! We could not have pulled it off without our exceptionally generous parent volunteers - THANK YOU doesn’t come close to adequately expressing our gratitude.

We are proud of our 6th graders who earned the Mayor’s Work Ethic Certificate! These students demonstrated a commitment to community engagement, responsibility, initiative, dependability, and perseverance.

Our Young Champions embodied the spirit of their motto today, "Let me win, but if I cannot win, let me be brave in the attempt!" We are so proud of their hard work and can't get enough of these joyful smiles!

Zoo trip fun in first grade! 🦁🐯🐘

A Star-‘books’ themed day in first grade! 📚🥤First graders enjoyed a day focused on reading with their specialty “coffees” (caffeine free refreshers provided by Starbucks) and delicious pastries served by their teachers/baristas in their classrooms turned coffee shops. We love any excuse to highlight the joy of a day spent reading great books!
