DOUBLE YOUR IMPACT
What history is waiting to be made? ✨
Dr. McCoy just answered that question — becoming the first Black female Doctoral graduate in Business Administration at West Virginia University.
A Harambee alumna. A trailblazer. And a reminder of what's possible when our community invests in a child.
Current Harambee students are waiting for the opportunity, and you can bring it within reach.
Help us close a $100,000 gap by June 30th. A $50,000 matching gift means your generosity goes further than ever right now.
Harambee history was just made. The future is waiting. You can write the next chapter. 🎓❤️

BIRTHDAY HIJINKS
🚨 Harambee Incident Report 🚨
Location: 3rd Grade Classroom
Suspects: An entire class of 3rd graders
Victim: Mrs. Hupp
Charge: Planning the greatest birthday surprise in school history 🎂
These students spent WEEKS organizing a fake fight to get Mrs. Hupp out of the room, rallied her co-teachers into the conspiracy, and had treats ready to go. The only flaw in an otherwise flawless plan? The "fighters" couldn't stop smiling long enough to be convincing. 😄
We have a no play-fighting rule at Harambee. We're making an exception. Just this once.
Thanks for rolling with the punches, Mrs. Hupp — your students love you more than you know! 🎉❤️

READING SUPERSTAR
While we just wrapped up the school year yesterday, we still have so many encouraging stories to share with you from 2025-26. Like this one:
In the span of just one year, this student excelled to read at 10th grade level! 📖
One school year. One unstoppable student. 🤯
When we asked her how she felt, she said: "I've never been so proud of myself."
That's everything.
Huge congratulations to this incredible 6th grader — and a massive shoutout to Mrs. Pearson, who saw what was possible and didn't let her settle for anything less.
This is what happens when hard work meets great teaching. We are so proud. 🙌❤️

NEW BEGINNINGS
From Kindergarten to 8th grade — what a journey. 🎓 Last Friday, we celebrated the graduation of our incredible 8th grade class, and every single student who walked across that stage has been part of the Harambee family since day one.
One of the most beautiful moments? Their Kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Jill Cleary, was there to cheer them on — a living reminder of just how far they've come and how many people have poured into their lives along the way.
A student moved us all with a heartfelt speech, and our Principal cast a powerful vision for their futures as Christ followers. Because while Friday was a celebration, it was also a threshold — the start of new beginnings filled with possibility and purpose.
We believe the foundation in Christ laid here at Harambee will empower these people to face whatever challenges come their way — and to rise as a new generation of leaders who know who they are and whose they are.
Congratulations, Class of 2025. We are so proud of you. ✝️🙌

A BLESSING FOR THE CLASS OF 2026 🎓✨
Tonight, we celebrate our 8th grade graduates — young men and women who have worked hard, grown deep, and made Harambee so proud.
As you step into your next chapter, we send you with the words that say it best:
"May the Lord bless you and protect you.
May the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you.
May the Lord look with favor on you and give you peace."
— Numbers 6:24-26
Class of 2026, you will always be part of this family. We will miss you deeply — and we cannot wait to celebrate you tonight. 🙏❤️

🎤✨ HARAMBEE'S GOT TALENT — and Friday proved it beyond any doubt.
The room was electric. The performances were incredible. And the love our students showed for one another? That was the best part of all.
From the first act to the last, our performers brought energy, creativity, and heart to every moment. We are so proud of every single student who stepped up and showed the Harambee community what they're made of.
Congratulations to all our talented performers — you made us so proud. 👏❤️
