“Teresa is a joy to have in class,” shared her teachers. “She actively participates in all of her classes and has maintained excellent grades while also participating in many club activities.”

Teresa loves the flexibility of online learning, sharing, “I can take my time, eat a filling breakfast, and feel refreshed with the amount of sleep I can get.” She also adds, “My teachers always want the best for me… I can always count on them.”

From excelling in language arts and science to enjoying Art Club and giving back through volunteer work, Teresa is truly shining. We’re so proud of you!

Join us in celebrating 8th grader James P, one of our Eagles of the Month!

“James constantly demonstrates achievement in his courses as well as outside of the virtual classroom,” shared his teachers. “He actively participates in all LiveLessons and goes above and beyond in his coursework.”

James says he loves the flexibility, sharing, “I can do my schoolwork whenever I want and flex my schedule to fit whatever I have going on.” He also appreciates the focused environment, adding that it helps him maintain “extremely high grades.”

From strong connections with teachers to fun gaming, tech, and cooking pop-ups, James is making the most of his experience. We’re so proud of you, James!

Congratulations to Colin R, our Eagle of the Month! A 12th-grade student, Colin has made a lasting impact through his leadership and dedication as an integral member of our National Honor Society. Teachers shared that he played a key role in organizing and running the NHS induction ceremony and consistently demonstrates the four pillars of NHS—Scholarship, Service, Leadership, and Character—in all that he does.

Colin credits our school’s flexibility as a major part of his success, especially while playing hockey out of state. He values the supportive relationships he’s built with his teachers and appreciates their willingness to check in and help when needed.

Science is Colin’s favorite subject, and outside of school, you’ll find him playing hockey, lacrosse with friends, exercising, or relaxing with video games. He manages it all by pacing himself and taking breaks throughout the day.

“Connections Academy is a very student-friendly program since there is lots of flexibility and guidance,” Colin shared.
