Today's Safety Council meeting featured an informative presentation from Shawn Bain from Global Drug Concepts on emerging drug trends impacting our communities and workplaces. Attendees gained insight into trends seen nationally, across Ohio and the Midwest, and here in Central Ohio, including the growing shift from opioids to stimulants, fentanyl, ma*****na, drug trafficking, cartel activity, and more. Thank you to Shawn for sharing his expertise and helping keep our members informed!

Next month, we're focusing on heat stress in the workplace. With August often bringing some of Ohio's hottest and most humid days, we'll discuss practical ways to help protect workers from heat-related illness.
