🥒 Sweet & Crunchy Refrigerator Pickles🥒

A fun, easy recipe kids can help make!

Ingredients
2–3 medium cucumbers, sliced into rounds or spears
1 cup water
1 cup distilled white vinegar
2 tablespoons sugar (or maple syrup)
1 tablespoon salt
1–2 sprigs fresh dill (optional)

Directions
Wash and slice the cucumbers. Pack them into a clean jar.
In a small saucepan, combine water, vinegar, sugar, and salt. Heat and stir until dissolved.
Let the brine cool completely.
Pour the cooled brine over the cucumbers. Add dill if desired.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 2–4 hours. For the best flavor and crunch, chill overnight.

💚 Kid Tip: Let children help wash, slice (with age-appropriate supervision), and pack the cucumbers into the jar.
