The purpose of this page is to promote the Stadium Scholarship Alumni Society, the Stadium Scholarship Program, and the Ohio State University.
Stadium Scholarship Dormitory History:
In 1933, a group of 75 young male students with limited financial means moved into the bowels of Ohio Stadium and started a tradition of cooperation and scholarship that remains alive today. Ohio Stadium is one of the most recognizable landmarks in all of sports. Built in 1922 at a cost of $1.3 million and refurbished in 2001 for slightly more than $194 million, the horseshoe-shaped stadium is a monument to college football.
