That’s a wrap on our 2025-2026 school year at UALC Preschool & Kindergarten! Our kindergartners had a fun filled last day of a movie, pizza party and even walked the red carpet to receive their bibles from Mrs.Snell. We will miss their smiling faces so much next year!

Last day of lunch bunch for this year! Mrs.Quinn & Mrs.Pusateri had a special last day for our Wednesday lunch bunch gang—an outside picnic & popsicles! What a great way to spend their final school day together!

Thank you to our generous parents for providing our staff with a Panera breakfast spread this morning! We appreciate you!

We are so very proud to announce that our Kindergarten teacher, Robyn Snell, has won an Upper Arlington Civic Association Golden Apple Award this year! “Robyn prepares her students for first grade by nurturing every aspect of their growth. Her balanced focus on academic readiness and social-emotional skills gives children the resilience they need for a seamless transition into the UA school system”. We couldn’t agree more! Thank you to all who came to celebrate Robyn today!

VIP Night at UALC Preschool & Kindergarten! Truly one of our most favorite two nights of the school year. The students have been practicing songs praising Jesus all year long with Mrs.Wiksell, and they finally had the chance to show how hard they’ve worked! Not to mention the amazing art show in Fellowship Hall afterwards! Thank you to our school community for coming together to make this night possible for our students, teachers and families!

Spring is officially here! Each April, our classrooms all get a batch of caterpillars 🐛 to explore their development into beautiful butterflies. The kids love watching the progress week after week.

A story by Dru Gentner from a recent Ministry Guide:
After attending preschool at UALC, there was no question as to where our son, Tommy, would attend kindergarten. We knew the best decision for him was to stay in such a nurturing, Christ-centered environment. Every single staff member is truly there for the children. UALC Kindergarten checked every box Mike and I were looking for to start Tommy's schooling off right.

Two of our top priorities were that we wanted a half-day program, with a small class size. Currently, there are two teachers for 12 students—I don't think that can be beat! He adores his teachers and the work he brings home is so neat! I love what they are studying and learning about in school. He tells me fun facts, like that "Abe Lincoln was the 16th president," and that "Van Gogh painted The Starry Night." We will feign surprise and ask him how he got so clever, to which he will shrug and give us that sly Tommy smile with a twinkle in his eye and respond, "I learned it at school."

UALC expands beyond the classroom, however, as the Pastor has also shown the students around the sanctuary, letting them explore by touching the Holy Water basin and discuss things like Communion. Bringing religion and Jesus to their level, praying daily, and fostering a life-long walk with Christ, family, friends, and education, are exactly why we are so happy with our decision!
