My, how we’ve grown! As we wrap up our 2025–2026 School Year Session, we prepare to say a bittersweet goodbye to some of our once-littlest learners who have grown into such capable big kids.

We are so proud of our graduates and wish them great success as they begin their grade school journeys. To the families who entrusted us with nurturing, guiding, and preparing their children for this exciting next step — thank you. It has been an honor to be part of your children’s early years. ❤️

Why are we called Community Montessori? Our approach to Montessori is rooted in community as much as independence!

Children don’t just learn alongside one another—they learn from one another. Through daily shared experience, they practice kindness, cooperation, and responsibility for themselves, their Children’s House community, and their environment. These prosocial skills aren’t taught in isolation. They are lived every day in our two mixed-age communities as children learn to belong, contribute, and connect. 🌿

At CMC, environmental responsibility isn’t a one-day celebration—it’s a daily practice. Join us in caring for our outdoor space during our annual Spring Family Landscaping Day. As a community, we’ll be spreading fresh wood chips across our natural play area to help keep it safe, beautiful, and ready for outdoor play.

If you or any adult family members or friends are able to lend a hand, please consider bringing tools that might help with moving and spreading wood chips—such as shovels, rakes, garden forks, wheelbarrows, and/or gardening gloves.

Community Montessori Columbus is looking for a Children’s House Assistant to join our growing early childhood team.

✨ Join a Montessori-trained Guide in supporting a Children's House community (ages 3–6)
✨ Help children build independence & social-emotional skills
✨ Keep our learning environment calm, organized, and beautiful

💼 Pay: $16–$20/hr (based on experience)
🕰 Schedule: Consistent weekly schedules totaling 30–40 hours.
