Last month in Cincinnati, Beeler Gallery Director of Exhibitions Jo-ey Tang joined a group of panelists in conversation about photography's past and future.
Considering Photography's Past, Future, and Pitfalls At a Fotofocus symposium, curators, panelists, and artists leapt into the fray of the medium's existential crisis, rather than just celebrating aesthetics or art history.

CCAD MFA candidate Lauren Mitro was awarded and is attending the Tao Hua Tan 5th International Artist Retreat and Residency in China earlier this semester. During the residency, each of the 20 international artists created at least three paintings for the permanent collection of the World Art Museum at Peach Blossom Pool Arts and Holiday Riverside Resort in China.

Currently on view at McConnell Arts Center is work from MillWorks Art Studios, home to more than 90 artists—including numerous Columbus College of Art & Design staff, faculty, and alumni. The exhibit runs through Jan. 12, 2020, at McConnell Arts Center.
