IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT...
Tomorrow, May 18th select 5th grade students will re-take the Math portion of the Georgia Milestone Assessment.
I would like to take some time to highlight some important information for tomorrow.
1) Tomorrow will be the only day for the Georgia Milestone Math re-test.
2) Due to testing, we ask that students DO NOT bring toys, bookbags (for students testing), or electronics to school. Electronics include but are not limited to the following: cell phones, iPads, smart watches, personal computers, stop watches, and calculators. Having electronic devices in the testing rooms can cause students' test scores to be voided.
3) IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO MAKE SURE YOUR CHILD IS ON TIME TO SCHOOL. Students are late at 7:45 a.m. We ask parents that students are in their seats by 7:45 a.m. so we can start testing on time. Breakfast will be served at the school from 7:00 a.m. – 7:30 a.m.
4) Due to online testing, we will start no later than 8:15 a.m. in order to give students ample time to complete their test and it will end at approximately 12:00 p.m.
5) Once testing has started students will not be permitted to check-out during testing. Please consider this as you arrange appointments.
6) Parents, please remember that not only do we need all 5th grade students who are re-testing on time, but we also need all of our PreK-5th grade students on time and present so everyone can be in their seat so all doors will be closed and the building is quiet.
7) If your child has to re-test, parents please encourage he or she to take their time for testing and do their absolute best. We are depending on you to help us keep your child motivated.
😎 Tomorrow students who are in their seat by 7:45 a.m. and present, their name will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win a prize from Ms. Hamilton.
Please ensure that your child has an opportunity to win!
If you have any questions, please call the main office at (762) 332-4360.
