The Sigma Chapter of Theta Tau is a chapter of a national engineering fraternity. We are located at The Ohio State University.

We are all connected by our majors and our fraternity. Theta Tau is the perfect mixture of professionalism, service, and having a good time. Our nation fraternity is the oldest and foremost engineering fraternity in the United States.

We’d like to wish everyone a happy Founder’s Day. Today we celebrate the brotherhood that this Chapter has brought to our lives!
115 years ago to this day, 4 engineers sought to create an organization that promoted service, professionalism, and brotherhood among engineers. 20 years later, the Engineer’s Club at The Ohio State University joined that cause and became the Sigma Chapter of Theta Tau.
The Purpose of Theta Tau is to develop and maintain a high standard of professional interest among its members, and to unite them in a strong bond of fraternal fellowship. We carry this purpose in our thoughts and actions, whether active brothers or alumni.
Our Founder’s Day celebration is this Saturday, October 19th. An email was sent out with information on how to RSVP. If you did not receive this email, please reach out to us at [email protected] so we can update your contact information!
