Earlier this month, CURA was honored to attend the groundbreaking of Ohio History Connection's Poindexter Village African American Museum. CURA's digital 3D models from the Ghost Neighborhoods of Columbus project will be featured in the museum!
We look forward to seeing this space honor and share the community’s legacy. Congrats Shelbi Toone, Ohio History Connection, the James Preston Poindexter Foundation (JPPF), and Union Grove Baptist Church!

Last Friday we hosted "GeoAI in Human Geography: Data, Algorithms, and Critical Futures" with Dr. Yue Lin.
The session highlighted emerging debates in human geography and offered a framework for integrating GeoAI in ways that are both innovative and socially responsible.

Join CURA and the Age-Friendly Innovation Center this Friday, 4/24, at 12pm ET for "Creating Age-Friendly Communities: Local Approaches from Practice, Policy, and Research." During the panel discussion, attendees will have the opportunity to hear from leaders in Central Ohio about how they approach the Age-Friendly work within their organization and provide practical guidance for planners to implement within their communities.
