Today we recognized Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd Graders who have gone above and beyond in Academics, Character, and Mindset in the first quarter! We are so proud of them and all of our Shell Creek Vikings for their hardwork to start this year!

We are fortunate to have Mrs. Borowiak at Shell Creek!

"Animal Battles" published by Bellwether is a very popular series! Everywhere I go, customers want more! That was the case when I visited Wanda Borowiak at Shell Creek Elementary by Columbus, NE. I was greeted with a table filled with "Animal Battles" and the "Who is Cuter?" series. The "Who is Cuter?" series is for K-2 and is a spin-off of "Animal Battles." Wanda shared that using this table display makes it easy for students to locate these two series, and she has to refill it several times a day. Way to make reading fun and easy for your students, Wanda!

⏰ Lakeview Community Schools will dismiss all K–12 students at 12:00 PM on Friday.

💦 Due to current field conditions and additional rain expected this week, our football field is oversaturated and will not be safe for play on Friday. Player safety is our top priority, so Friday’s home football game against O’Neill will be moved to Pawnee Park.

🏈 Because of field availability, the game will begin at 2:00 PM on Friday.

🏫 To accommodate the earlier game time, Lakeview Community Schools will dismiss all K–12 students at 12:00 PM on Friday. PreK is not in session Friday.

🚌 Buses will run following the early dismissal schedule, and students will have the option to receive a grab-and-go lunch, as they have on previous 12:00 PM dismissal days.

Thank you for your flexibility and understanding. We look forward to seeing our Viking community at Pawnee Park on Friday!
