Today's Bike Race has been canceled. Even if rain subsides, it is not safe to race on the wet pavement. The 7th and 8th grade water fight will still take place at 2:00 PM (if no thunder/lightning). Happy last day of school!

REMINDER: Today is Market Day! The 4th graders have been working hard on planning their projects. Come out and support them! ☀️

If you forget to send money with your child, you can Venmo Lindsay Mullis () and she has some cash at school she can give them! Lemonade, cookies, brownies, bracelets, crocheted squishes, etc.! So many fun, cool options!

WCLS received a special certificate from the governor! Great job on your IREAD Tests, Grade 3!

The countdown to summer is on, and we have lots of exciting events happening during our final days of school! 🎉☀️

📍 Wednesday, 5/13: Camp Lakeview
Students should arrive between 8:30-8:45 AM. Please remember:
🥪 Bring a lunch
👟 Wear tennis shoes/active clothes - school dress code still applies
🧺 Bring a towel to sit on
💧 Bring a water bottle

📍Thursday, 5/14: 4th Grade Market Day
Come support our 4th graders as they sell treats, drinks, handmade items, and more! 🍪🥤🧶
Most items will be $1, with the adorable crocheted squishes available for $2.

☕ JavaGoat will be here from 7:00-9:00 AM
🏎️ KINDY500 begins at 1:45 PM
🍦 After the race, KitKat cones and fudgesicles will be available for $1 each. Families will also have the opportunity to check out Huntly Hupp’s race car after the event!

📍 Tuesday, 5/19: Cold-Treat & 8th Grade Graduation
We will be selling whatever cold treats we have left for $1 each! Limited quantities 🍧

We will celebrate our graduates with graduation at 6 PM followed by dinner for graduates and their families. 🎓

📍 Wednesday, 5/20: Last Day of School!
⛪ Chapel service begins at 8:00 AM
🏅 Awards ceremony and concert will follow. ❤️🤍💙 Please wear red, white, and blue as we celebrate America’s 250th birthday at our concert!
🍦 An ice-cream truck will be here in the afternoon. Each student will receive a free ice cream cone!

Students will also have time to sign yearbooks on the last day - a favorite end-of-year tradition! ✍️📘
Yearbooks are available for purchase in the office for $10.

We will close out the year with many of our favorite traditions and a whole lot of celebration! 🎉☀️📚

YEARBOOKS are for sale in the office for $10 each!

Tomorrow is a Late Start Day. Please arrive between 9:30-9:45. Teachers are participating in online professional development and will not in the building until 9:30. Fudgesicles for $1.00 in the afternoon!
