We are incredibly proud to celebrate Vincia Li! 🎉

Her accomplishments reflect years of dedication, curiosity, and passion for learning:
🏅 Named the STEM Student of the Year by the South Asian Network
🔬 Wells Scholar earning a full ride to Indiana University on a Pre-Med track
📚 Top 10 student at Columbus North High School
🧪 Completed the C4 Biomedical pathway
🌍 Earned the Multilingual Proficiency Certification
📈 Advanced coursework including AP Biology, AP Chemistry, AP Physics, AP Statistics, AP Calculus BC, and Calculus 3

Vincia shared that her interest in STEM careers was inspired through experiences like GirlUp and the encouragement of her teachers — a powerful reminder of how mentorship and opportunity can shape future leaders.

At last night's school board meeting, BCSC recognized the 2025-26 retirees, some of whom are in the photo below. This year's group of 34 retirees accumulated an incredible 866 years of service to BCSC.

Thank you for all you've done for students and this community and good luck to each of you in retirement!

Congratulations to two outstanding students who earned National Math Star recognition for scoring in the top 2% of all Indiana students on ILEARN Mathematics:

We also celebrate an incredible accomplishment by Northside Middle School, who captured the State Math Bowl Championship for the second year in a row! 🏆

This week alone:
✨ We celebrated the grand opening of our new Health Sciences wing at Columbus East
🏆 C4 Architecture students earned 8 of 11 awards at the Indiana High School Architectural Design Competition
🧪 Criminal Justice & Biomed students partnered with local agencies for an unforgettable real-world Forensics Day

These experiences reflect BCSC’s commitment to expanding Advanced STEM opportunities, career-connected learning, and workforce readiness for every student. The future is bright — and it’s happening at C4.

Congratulations to our top graduating STEM scholars! Each student earned 30+ Advanced STEM credits, including at least 16 AP math and science credits, while also completing C4 career pathway courses during high school.
