What does it look like to build a career around what you’re good at, what interests you and where you want to go next?

That was the focus of last week’s alumni conversation, and there were plenty of ideas worth taking with you, whether you’re exploring what’s next or simply looking for a fresh perspective on your career.

Couldn’t join us live? You can watch the conversation on demand and hear from our panelists, Lan Montler, Briones Bedell-Siders and Vince Campise, hosted by Dr. Brenda Jones.

What do two Franklin alumni, 55 years apart, have in common?

More than a diploma.

Gary K. ’71 earned his bachelor’s degree from Franklin as a working adult, taking a few courses and continuing forward until he reached his goal.

Decades later, his granddaughter Andrea G. ’26 took a similar path, balancing work while earning her master’s degree from Franklin.

When Andrea discovered that Gary no longer had his original diploma, she had it reprinted for him. In the process, she uncovered a piece of their stories they both shared: finding a way to keep learning while balancing the demands of work and life.

Two alumni. Two generations. One Franklin connection.

We’re proud to have Gary and Andrea as part of the Franklin alumni community!

For Tatjana Brown, success has always been about more than a career. It’s about making a difference in the community she calls home.

From a 25-year career with nationally recognized brands to building a local business and helping raise more than $30,000 each year for local schools and organizations, Tatjana has turned her experience into impact.

We were proud to recognize Tatjana with Franklin’s Alumni Award for Professional Excellence during Sunday’s Commencement.

Franklin alumni, we’re asking for your support! 🎓

For nearly 125 years, Franklin has helped learners turn their goals into opportunities – and that legacy continues because of the thousands of alumni who carry their Franklin experience into their careers, communities and lives.

We’re honored to be nominated in Columbus CEO’s Best of Business Awards for Best MBA and Best Continuing Education Offerings. This recognition reflects the dedication of our students, graduates, faculty and staff who make the Franklin experience possible.

If you're proud of your Franklin journey, we’d be grateful for your vote. Voting takes about a minute, and you can vote daily through July 17.

Some alumni leave a legacy that lasts far beyond their own graduation day.

At Franklin's 182nd Commencement, Phil Fankhauser '68 celebrated a milestone years in the making: the first graduates of the M.S. in Professional Sales Leadership program.

A Franklin graduate, longtime board member, and dedicated supporter of the University, Phil has spent decades creating opportunities for future students. This spring, he had the chance to watch the inaugural class of a program he helped champion cross the stage.

Four graduates. Four unique journeys. One example of the impact alumni can have on the next generation.

1,227 graduates. 47 states. 26 countries. One thriving alumni community of over 50,000.

Please join us in welcoming the newest members of the Franklin University Alumni Community: the Class of Spring 2026.

At Franklin's 182nd Commencement Ceremony, graduates crossed the stage and joined a network of alumni making an impact in their careers, communities and industries around the world.

As graduate speaker Jamie W. shared, "Growth often happens in the small moments. The moments where we choose to move forward even with uncertainty and self doubt sitting right there with us."

Congratulations and welcome to the Franklin alumni family.
