Wednesday, January 28th: Lunch Bunch is cancelled. TOTS will still meet from 11:30-12:15.

Our 4's have been studying insects. They were able to watch the life cycle of a painted lady butterfly.🐛 They started with 5 caterpillars and then were able to release their new butterflies into the church court yard! 🦋This is always a neat learning experience for our pre-k class!

They are introduced to letters, numbers, patterns, opposites, and many other readiness skills. We incorporate all the developmental domains in their day and emphasis the importance of play!! Our Pre-K 4 curriculum is designed around exploratory learning through play, peer learning, as well as one-on-one time with teachers. They have thematic units each week that are geared towards their needs and interests. The 4’s focus on letters and their sounds, recognition of numbers, how to recognize, spell and write their name, sequencing, concepts of print, building listening skills, and the development of fine-motor skills.
