Happy Scholar Walk Day ♥️ In this tradition that’s 4 years running, graduating seniors got to visit westside elementary and middle schools where the younger students cheered them on. We are so proud of all of you!!

Congrats to Kelvin Cung for being chosen as the SLC student of the month! Kelvin goes above and beyond to help his peers in the classroom. He is smart, kind, and a wonderful friend to have. Great job, Kelvin!

Graduation season is starting early for three incredible West seniors! Molly Cooper, Laila Hassan and Brenda Vazquez Jaimes graduated from Columbus State Community College after earning their Associate’s degrees through our College Credit Plus program!

It’s no secret that we have the best staff and students at West – and we have the accolades to prove it! This year, West’s superstar nurse, Renata Weaver, was awarded the Movement Champion Award for encouraging staff, students, and community members to be more active and lead healthier lifestyles. Congratulations, Nurse Weaver!

A group of student leaders traveled to southeast Ohio today to learn more about student-driven learning. Students got to speak with school district leaders from around the state to discuss how students can be more involved in deciding what is learned in the classroom.
