On Friday, we celebrated the dedication, growth, and impact of our Ohio Reading Corps members. From the first day of orientation to the final day of service, our members poured their hearts into helping students build confidence and succeed.
As we gathered to reflect on the year, one thing was clear: the impact of service reaches far beyond the classroom. The relationships built, the challenges overcome, and the lives touched will be remembered long after this year ends.
Thank you for choosing to serve. Thank you for believing in your students. And thank you for making this year one to remember.

Wrapping up the week with smiles, stories, and strong readers in the making 📚✨
Our Ohio Reading Corps tutor, Ms. Lois, has been hard at work with our students at Taylor Road Elementary, bringing the joy of reading to life with a little help from Dr. Seuss and hands-on learning with Word Snap!
From building words to building confidence, these students are growing every single day.
Happy Friday. Keep turning those pages and believing in your progress! 💛 ServeOhio

Last week, member Janice McNally shared her love for football during a team meeting in Youngstown! 🏈 Each month, our members have the chance to showcase their passions, and Janice brought incredible energy and enthusiasm to her presentation. We're beyond grateful to have such dedicated members in Eastern Ohio, who not only bring passion to their work but are also committed to making a meaningful impact and changing lives every day.

Shout out to our amazing Ohio Reading Corps team for pouring into each other at their team meeting today! ❤️❤️❤️
Willie walked us through sign language basics, Della shared engaging strategies for helping K–3 students pronounce words, and Adam demonstrated how he teaches blended words like “’twas” using the book, The Night Before Christmas. When we grow, our students grow! 📚

Every great reader and writer starts with the basics!
One of our reading tutors, Emily, is helping students build strong foundations one letter at a time ✏️
Her thoughtfully created alphabet packets at KIPP give students the opportunity to practice handwriting, strengthen fine motor skills, and grow in confidence with every stroke. Small steps today lead to big success tomorrow! 🌟
