🇺🇸 BSP Families, School Closure Reminder 🇺🇸

Bessie Sherrod Price Preparatory Academy will be CLOSED Monday, September 7th in observance of Labor Day.

We hope our students, families, and staff enjoy a safe and relaxing long weekend! 💙❤️

📚 Classes will resume Tuesday, September 8th. We look forward to welcoming our Owls back! 🦉

⚡️ Gotta Catch ’Em All… through EMULATION! 🦉
Ms. Gordon is bringing a little Pokémon fun into our middle school classroom this year! As part of her Emulation system, students helped create and personalize their own Trainer Cards and Pokémon pieces that will be used throughout the school year as they work toward goals, accomplishments, and positive achievements. ⭐️

The best part? Our students aren’t just participating in the system, they’re helping CREATE it!

And a special shoutout to America, who has already reached an achievement and earned her actual Pokémon card! ⚡️ Way to set the tone and show your classmates how it’s done!

We’re excited to see how our Middle School Owls continue to level up throughout the year! 🦉💛

🦉💛 Leadership in Action!

Sometimes our Owls just need a little extra push, some guidance, and someone to remind them that they CAN do hard things!

When a few of our students were having a tough time staying focused and working through long division, our principal Mr. Savage stepped right in! He sat down with them, worked through the problems step-by-step, and gave them a much-needed pep talk along the way.

At BSP, leadership isn’t just about running the school,
it’s about showing up for our students, meeting them where they are, and helping them keep going. Sometimes that little extra push is all it takes!
