Terry McFarland Student Center: A Living Memorial to Serve Future Generations of Hawks

We are excited to share information with you about an expansion to our campus that provides new spaces for academic excellence, community engagement, and athletics. The Bishop Hartley Terry McFarland Student Center sits across Zettler Road from Hartley’s campus, giving students a dedicated space for classes, clubs, and team activities. By extending campus life beyond the main building, it allows new opportunities for our students.

This building is envisioned as “a living memorial to serve future generations of Hawks.” The Student Center honors Staff Sgt. Terrence “Terry” McFarland ‘66, a Bishop Hartley alumnus and U.S. Army veteran who gave his life in service to our country at age 20. His courage, leadership, and selfless commitment to others embody the values Hartley strives to instill in every student.

More information about usage, scheduling, and programming will be shared as development continues.
