Akiva Chaykin has attended CTA since Kindergarten and has been an active member of the school community ever since. Throughout his four years of high school, he has participated in all three varsity sports while also staying heavily involved in the broader Jewish Community. He took part in the Wexner Service Corps last year and has been involved in NCSY for the past four years, serving as Columbus Chapter President last year and Central East Regional Board President this year. Outside of school, you can find him working at the JCC lifeguarding, or sometimes helping Mashgiach around Columbus. His fondest memory of his youth was in second grade, when Akiva took his JCC rec league basketball team all the way to second place…with his positivity shining on the bench. On the side, Akiva enjoys playing guitar, piano, and various other instruments he somehow manages to order off Amazon. He also really enjoys bowling, with a high score of 174, and hopes to bowl a perfect game in the future. After Graduation, Akiva will be attending Yeshivat Shaalvim in Shaalvim, Israel, and then continuing on to the Honors Program at the Sy Syms School of Business at Yeshiva University.

Growing Minds. Grounded Souls.
This is what CTA does every day.
For students in kindergarten finding their voice. For middle schoolers learning to think more deeply and stand more confidently. For high school students preparing to step forward with clarity, skill, and conviction.
