Today’s hands-on learning can lead to tomorrow’s career! 🔬
This week, we joined OhioHealth and Ohio Life Sciences Association at Cambridge Middle School, where approximately 140 eighth-grade students got a closer look at the careers that help keep patients healthy!
Students stepped into the action by taking on challenges inspired by real healthcare work: racing to measure heart rates, investigating how infections spread, practicing precision & teamwork in a simulated operating room. 👩⚕️💓 Along the way, they met real professionals and explored the many roles involved in a patient's care, including careers they may not have known existed.
When students can see themselves doing the work, ask questions of the people doing it, and try out the skills for themselves, a future career can start to feel a little more possible.
Thank you to OhioHealth, Ohio Life Sciences, and Cambridge Middle School for helping students connect what they’re learning today with where it could take them tomorrow!
