Hey everyone — hard to believe it’s already been another five years! That means it’s time for the St. Francis DeSales Class of 2001 25-year reunion this summer.

Is there interest in getting together? If so, who would like to help on the committee, and what should we do for the reunion?

So, I learned a little more about FB yesterday in the process of jump starting a 20 year reunion. The mention of 20 year reunion ages us in itself correct, not just the fact that I’m admitting I’m FB illiterate? 😂 This is a 2001 FB page. There is also a 2001 FB group. If you’re not in the group join there as well. I’m hearing different things about which tool is the best way to reach more people and communicate more effectively.

On the group page I can cast a poll to see when the majority prefers this reunion to happen. Once we have that figured out, then we can start planning.

It would be helpful for everyone to try to invite others and share these posts.

Hopefully we can get something organized. It would be great to see you all, and maybe relive the days of being young and carefree!

Class of 2001, Facebook has changed over the years, I see 140 'followers' or people that have liked this page so hoping this gets into your feed... 20 years is a long time!

With COVID I had thought this was a lost cause a year ago when I wanted to plan something, but with the world opening back up maybe we can do something in the late summer/fall of 2021 still, or would people want to do something in Winter closer to Holidays? Who has ideas of places and activities? Who wants to help plan? Looking for feedback and hands to help organize and rally the troops. I listed my cell as the number on here so feel free to call or txt.

Hi all 👋 I’m happy to help plan this 20 year reunion that snuck up on us in a blink of the eye! I think late summer/ early fall this year could be fun, but that’s also sneaking up on us. Any suggestions/interest? Jason Barnett throw out your ideas.

136 Career Points; 2001 NSCAA All-American, Three-time All-Ohio, Two-time NSCAA Ohio Player of the Year, member of two State Championship teams, started every game in 4 years at the University of Dayton and became the 4th player in Flyer history to record 25 goals and 25 assists.
