Thank you to our incredible Partners in Education, Body of Christ Worship Center, for hosting another successful Back to School Bash at Hannan Elementary Magnet Academy (HEMA)! We TRULY appreciate your continued support and partnership! We love you our BCWC family!

Greetings Hannan Families,

We’re excited for this new season as we begin our 26-27 school year! We look forward to welcoming our Hawk Scholars tomorrow morning when doors open promptly at 7:00am. Students will report directly to the cafeteria and will be released to homerooms at 7:10am. ILT/SEL begins at 7:35am. Students are tardy after 7:45am.

Parents, if you missed Verification last week, you will need to stop by the front office starting at 7:30am to complete that process prior to your students reporting to class! Students MUST be in school uniform! You may go to our school website to see the uniform requirements.

Also parents, if students require medication to be administered during the school day, please stop by the school clinic to speak with our clinician and complete the required medication forms. All medications must be in original containers!

Welcome to our newest Hawks! We have new programs added this year to our Hannan Magnet family, and with this comes the hiring of new faculty and staff members! Thank you all for choosing Hannan. Together, WE soar!

Hannan’s community garden is coming together, but we welcome any help! If any of our stakeholders have experience with constructing raised garden beds, crafting picnic tables, or even growing a garden, we can use your support! Simply contact the front office. Our students and staff have done an amazing job of helping to cultivate our garden, and our amazing principal, Dr. Miller, has done an outstanding job of tending to the garden this summer.
