To our volunteers—thank you for showing up early, staying late, solving problems, and helping create an unforgettable experience for our youth.

To our sponsors and partners—your investment continues to open doors of opportunity and helps us prove that when a community comes together, amazing things happen.

A special thank you to:

Nothing says “end of the year” like good food and even better company! 🍗🧀🥔 Huge thanks to our amazing partners at Synovus Tiffanee McDaniel for treating us to a delicious catered lunch from Big Slim Meal Prep & Catering during our end of the year luncheon. From the mac & cheese to the mashed potatoes, every bite was “souper” appreciated! 💚 We are so thankful for community partners who continue to pour into and support our school family. What a great way to wrap up the year 💙

Dear South Columbus Families, Students, and Community Partners,

As we bring the school year to a close, I want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude. This year has been an incredible journey, and its success is a direct result of the dedication, hard work, and unwavering support of our entire community.

I am immensely proud of how we have all embraced our values to S.O.A.R.—it's not just an acronym, but a visual reminder of what it means to be Safe, Organized, Accountable, and Respectful.

To our wonderful students: Thank you for your energy and determination. Whether starting your educational journey in our Pre-K program, exploring hands-on learning, or mastering daily lessons, you have shown what it truly means to strive toward your unlimited potential.

To our SOARing families: Thank you for your partnership. Your involvement and encouragement at home are the cornerstone of your child’s educational journey.

To our community and Partners in Education: Thank you for standing alongside us. Your collaboration helps South Columbus Elementary remain a welcoming, supportive environment where our students feel safe, encouraged, and ready to learn.

As we head into the summer break, I encourage all students to rest, read, and stay safe. I am already looking forward to the next school year, and can’t wait to welcome you back on campus and reconnect with all of you.

Thank you for your continued support and for making South Columbus Elementary such a special place to learn and grow.

Wishing you all a wonderful, safe, and happy summer!

With Eagle Pride,
Principal Griffin
