Veteran's Weekend hike @ Hocking Hills!

Two weeks ago we had a full class for Primary Assessment of Trauma in the Wilderness! Some great education about what to do when you see an undifferentiated patient. We went through several scenarios and even carried out a patient in a rope litter. Look forward to a "Stop the Bleed" massive hemorrhage workshop with Dr. Dan Bachmann in the coming weeks!

1. Join us at Chambers Climbing tomorrow (Friday 2/8) at 7pm ish for a casual climb session for college Friday, don't forget your ID!
2. Monday (2/11) is the Primary Assessment of Trauma in the Wilderness lecture from 6-7pm. Details were in the email sent to OSUMC addresses. Sign ups are full, but the waitlist is open! Check your emails M1s and 2s!

I hope you all enjoyed your holiday season! I came across a digital Wilderness Med grand rounds sponsored by Brown EM covering hypothermia and frostbite. It’s about 10-15 minutes long and would be a great way to learn something new or review for your cold weather adventures!
