Congratulations to St. Anne-Pacelli High School Italian teacher Daniela Brollo, who was selected as one of a distinguished group of educators from across the United States to serve as an AP Italian Exam Reader for the College Board.
AP Readers play a vital role in the Advanced Placement program, evaluating and scoring student responses on AP exams. Selected educators undergo specialized training on College Board scoring standards and work alongside fellow teachers and college faculty to ensure exams are graded accurately and consistently. The experience provides valuable insight into the AP assessment process and helps teachers bring an even deeper understanding of exam expectations back to their classrooms.
We are proud of Ms. Brollo for this professional achievement and grateful for the expertise and passion she brings to our Italian program each day. Her selection reflects her commitment to excellence in language education and her dedication to helping students succeed.

We need your assistance!
Anyone who has ever prepared a recognition listing knows that there is always of chance of misspelling a name, or even worse, inadvertently omitting a contributor’s name altogether. Now that we are 19 days from the end of the 2025-2026 fiscal year, we want to make every effort to guarantee that our donors are duly recognized for their gifts towards our mission.
Please click here - https://tinyurl.com/pma8b82f - to review a preliminary listing of donors who made gifts to our school between July 1, 2025-June 8, 2026.
❤ If you have made a gift and your name is not listed, is misspelled, or does not appear as you would like it to in our Annual Report, please email Director of Advancement and Alumni Relations Emily Sutherland: [email protected].
❤ Thanks to the generosity of our Viking community, we have already surpassed our original P Fund goal and are now approaching the final weeks of our fiscal year with tremendous momentum. Together, we have raised over $170,000 - strengthening opportunities for our students, investing in our campus, and ensuring that St. Anne-Pacelli continues to provide a faith-filled, academically excellent experience for every child.
❤ If you have not contributed to The P Fund this year, or you would like to make a second gift, make your gift today or before June 30, 2026. You can contribute online at BeAViking.com/Support/The-P-Fund, or mail a check to St. Anne-Pacelli Catholic School, Office of Advancement, 2020 Kay Circle, Columbus, GA 31907.
The 2025-2026 issue of The Yawp, our school’s annual magazine, will go to print the first week of July and include the names of supporters who made gifts between July 1, 2025-June 30, 2026. If you haven’t had the opportunity to donate this fiscal year, we would love to see your name listed.
Thank you for taking the time to review our donor listing and for the many ways you support St. Anne-Pacelli Catholic School. We look forward to celebrating the generosity of our community in this year's Annual Report and hope to see your name included among those who helped make this extraordinary year possible.

Welcome to Pacelli, Coach!
St. Anne-Pacelli Catholic School is pleased to announce the appointment of Cobie Vance as the next Head Baseball Coach of its Vikings Baseball program.
A Fayetteville, N.C. native and former professional baseball player, Vance brings an impressive combination of playing experience, leadership, player development, and a passion for mentoring young athletes.
Vance is a graduate of the University of Alabama, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Human Environmental Sciences and was a three-year starter for the Crimson Tide baseball program. From 2016-2018, he started all 168 games of his collegiate career and was recognized for his commitment to service as a member of the 2018 SEC Baseball Community Service Team.
Following his collegiate career, Vance was selected in the 18th round of the 2018 Major League Baseball Draft by the Oakland Athletics. During a six-year professional career in the Oakland Athletics and Miami Marlins organizations, he advanced to the Triple-A level before retiring in 2024. One of the highlights of his professional career came in 2022 when he hit the go-ahead grand slam in the Southern League (AA) Championship Game, helping lead the Pensacola Blue Wahoos to the first outright championship in franchise history.
Since coming to Columbus, Vance has served as Director of Baseball Operations for Across the Diamond, where he has focused on player development and helping young athletes reach their full potential both on and off the field.
"I am incredibly honored and excited to join St. Anne-Pacelli Catholic School as the next Head Baseball Coach. Pacelli has a strong tradition of excellence, and I look forward to building relationships with our student-athletes and helping them grow as players, students, and young men of character,” Vance said.
"We are excited to welcome Cobie Vance to the Viking family," said Athletic Director Calvin Thomas. "His experience at the collegiate and professional levels, combined with his passion for developing young people, makes him an outstanding fit to lead our baseball program."
