Our music faculty have been busy performing in Europe this summer! Dr.Mortyakova and Dr. Bogdan performed a recital in Brasov, Romania.  Dr. Mortyakova gave a solo recital at Villa Teresa in Coswig, Germany.  She also performed a solo recital as well as a Concerto with an orchestra in Assisi, Italy.

On Friday April 24 and Saturday April 25, the Music Department will present a fully staged musical, “She Loves Me” at 7:30pm in Poindexter Hall.

She Loves Me is a classic 1963 Broadway musical by Jerry Bock and Sheldon Harnick based on a play by Miklos Laszlo. Full of rivalry and romance, She Loves Me follows the story of Amalia and George, coworkers who cannot stand each another. They are also members of a “lonely hearts club” where they have exchanged love letters with one another, but not pictures, so they don’t know that they’ve fallen in love with each other!

What: She Loves Me
When: April 24 & April 25 at 7:30pm
Where: Kossen Auditorium, Poindexter Hall
Cost: Free

Tickets are first-come, first-served at the door. Seating is limited and guests are encouraged to arrive early.

SHE LOVES ME is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI). All authorized performance materials are also supplied by MTI.
