McNutt & McNutt This is a business that we created based on our joy for crafting and personalizing objects for anyone and everyone. We can also powder coat your own yeti cup.

We started this business when our two girls moved out and went to college at Texas A&M (Whoop!). We found that we had a tremendous amount of free time so we put our crafting skills to good use. Al has been doing woodwork projects for years and can usually make whatever people have in mind. We started selling painted children stools with an optional vinyl decal of your wish. We also are selling ha

ndmade knife handles and leather sheaths. We also sell powder coated RTIC cups in various sizes and colors. You can add optimal personalization (ie. monograms, quotes, images etc.). Oh, I was asked if I make boxes for dominoes (not the dominoes just the box). This is one I just made using my laser for a standard set of dominoes that I have. I would need to get dimensions of the dominoes (or their current box) for non-standard size dominoes. Oh by the way, this is my box. It is not for sale (unless I get an offer that I can’t say no to!)

I failed to take pictures of the last bunch of things that I took to “Against the Grain”, so I thought I’d start early with the picture taken. This charcuterie board and sourdough bread bow knife will be going there as soon as they sell some of the things that I’ve already got there.

Well, I made 4 sourdough bow knives (one I consider to be a little different) and one cutting board (sort of a charcuterie board because of its odd shape, but a little big). The problem is, I forgot to take pictures. Sooo, if you want to see them you will have to check them out at Against the Grain which is located in Columbus on the east side of the courthouse square!

I’ve been trying to work with single pipes (gongs?) and to get that deep bell like tone. With any type of chime or gong you have to get the right size (diameter). Instead of a hardwood clapper, this one has a clapper made from epoxy resin. The sound is not bad. I’m not sure if a Shaolin monk would appreciate it. But I’m just a young grasshopper.

I’ve been trying to come up with old logos of SWT University, my Alma mater. I’m hoping to come up with a SWT wind sail for the wind chimes that I make. I have many different sizes and colors of chimes in my backyard and front porch that I am surprised the neighbors haven’t complained. I try to get them all tuned to Bb, so they sound pretty good if I do say so myself. Give me a call if you’re interested.
