Applications open August 15 for summer 2027! (High School Sophomores and Juniors this fall can apply for this life changing experience!)

Today is International Day of Friendship, and there's no better time to introduce the Road to MGS 2027.

At Mississippi Governor's School, students come for the academics, but they leave with something even more valuable: friendships that often last a lifetime.

For two weeks, scholars from every corner of Mississippi live, learn, laugh, and grow together. They challenge each other in the classroom, cheer each other on outside of it, and discover they aren't the only ones who love learning.

If you've ever wondered what MGS is, it's more than a summer program. It's a community.

🚧 Scholar applications for MGS 2027 open August 15.
