Merry Fingers Private Piano Instruction

Twice a year for 20 years, Merry Fingers holds recitals for all our students, children and adults alike to participate in. Here is one of the many words of thanks to Ms. Mary for the benefit of those recitals.

For 20 years, Ms Mary has been showcasing her brilliant students twice a year with recitals. Kudos to you, Ms Mary and all your students--children, teenagers, and adults! We all love you!

Here she goes again and here she shows again the brilliance of her piano students--children, teenagers, and adults. 🎹

For 20 years now, Mom has been orchestrating bi-annual recitals for her students to showcase their accomplishments on the piano for their families. This afternoon will be her Merry Fingers Studio's 20th Annual Spring Recital.🤩🎼🎉

At any given time, over the past 20+ years that she's been offering private piano instruction, Mom has kept a roster of between 35 and 45 students. Her energy and enthusiasm to continue this week after week, month after month, year after year is simply amazing!

Her family has supported her along this journey, as it does take a village. As her daughter, I've always created the event programs, which include a list of the performers and what songs they are playing. Older sister has been the photographer extraordinaire for many of these recitals. Lil' bro shows up to offer the opening prayer and most times graciously stays to the end to do the benediction. Younger sis, nieces, and sis-in-law have played the hostesses with the mostesses numerous times. Over the years, nieces and nephews have assisted with picking up the programs from the print shop, collating and stapling them; doing some graphics work; and helping serve refreshments. Older bro is always on the backend throughout the year with technical and wi-fi skills making it possible for her to teach virtually (about 30% of her lessons are conducted via Zoom weekly--100% during covid quarantine). Phew! 😜🥲

It's a huge undertaking. She really needs a week off afterwards but instead gets right back on schedule with lessons after just one day off. 🤔

We are so proud of Mom, as she's approaching another milestone age, yet demonstrating the power of THE ARTS in keeping the human spirit vibrant, hence the body full of vitality and prescription-meds-free! 🤗
