Recipe!!
Have you had Chang's Coconut Cooler from PF Chang's? Here's my healthy take on it:
In a blender put a handful of ice, 1/2 can of light coconut milk, 1/2 cup of coconut water, and 1/2 cup of regular coconut milk (like Silk). Add in a couple of teaspoons of coconut sugar (to taste). Blend until smooth...enjoy!!!

Weight loss or achieving fitness is NOT easy. If it was, we would all be fit, healthy 100% of the time and never give into temptation. It all comes down to your personal priorities and understanding that weight loss or achieving fitness is not the perfect equation of less calories in and exercise more...it's a full picture with many components (some of which require trial and error).
I can honestly say that every client of mine who has followed my plans and done what I have asked of them have lost weight/inches and achieved fitness goals. Commitment to a plan and perseverance through tough spots equals success.

Announcement time! If you've been paying attention, you've noticed that Leyla has been cutting back on classes gradually (this is in part due to family commitments and physical restrictions). She will be keeping her Monday and Thursday morning Zumbas and Wednesday and Friday morning Kickboxing classes with LA Fitness in 2015. Winter Session 2015 at Westerville Community Center (Intermediate Belly Dance at 7pm Mondays) will be Leyla's last belly dance classes. If you've wanted to take classes with Leyla, please sign up for Winter with WCC (614-901-6500) NOW! If you need assistance in getting signed up (ie you have completed the prerequisite with another teacher/studio and need Leyla's permission to attend), please message us.
Effective Spring 2015, all belly dance classes will be with the amazingly talented Kitty Mystique!
We are very confident that this will be a positive change for Black Market Belly Dance & Fitness. Both Leyla and Kitty will be available for performance bookings. Leyla will still offer Personal Training/Wellness Coaching and Kitty will be available for private lessons in belly dance.

Due to Leyla having a cracked rib and a strained muscle on top of that rib, the remainder of Intermediate Belly Dance classes this term will be taught by Kitty. Zumba classes are also either being subbed or (in the case of Flow) being team taught...so she can expedite healing. She will resume teaching belly dance in January, so please register for classes!!
