Senior Celebration #3 - A legacy of WXCU airtime, sound checks and fountain concerts, and enough time spent in Mees Hall to qualify for residency. Thanks for filling the air around campus with sweet sweet panic, i mean music. Congrats Seniors - continue to make (professional) noise.

Our music tech seniors all do research projects, but not all of them apply for the Capital Research Symposium. Graduating senior Joe Bull presented this year on his research of immersive film audio in the impact on the viewer.

Senior Celebration #2 - They worked in the studio, traveled, created, observed, gave criticism, received feedback, recorded sound effects, made websites, and likely wrapped about 1,000 XLR cables. Go Seniors, go seniors, go go seniors!

Incredible times at the 2026 Sound and Media Workshop. had guest radio shifts, Studio F was packed all day long with John Carey, the lobby had an array of cool tables, Capital University Rock Ensemble was amazing and so much more. And finally what a team! Everyone contributed to the event's success. We'll see you next year!

Senior Celebration Post #1 - In just about 24 days, these once green, doe-eyed newbies now turned tasteful professionals will walk across the stage to be Capital University graduates. We expect they'll do great things. Perhaps, they'll even come back in a year or so and visit? Please?

MUS 112 Intro to the Recording Studio - Spring 2026. First year students took children's books like Where the Wild Things Are, Goodnight Moon and Green Eggs and Ham and turned them into full audio stories with sound effects, music and narration using 's Studio B, .protools, and suite of virtual instruments.
