John Berry is the the lead guitarist of internationally touring band Jacobs Dream. Self-taught, he has been playing guitar since the late 80's. His band has opened up for Petra (2005, Mexico City) and Scorpions (2000, Germany) and recently played in Switzerland. They are getting ready to release their 7th album. In the past, their albums were distributed at Virgin Megastore, WalMart, Meijer and many other places around the world too numerous to count. They have been interviewed by RockHard Magazine, and, at home, we have volumes of scrapbooks with interviews and articles about them from around the world. They are very popular in Europe and South America. John is a 1985 graduate of Walnut Ridge High School and Fort Hayes, and resides on the east side of Columbus, Ohio. Guitar lessons from John are available in any style, for just $20 for a 45 minute lesson. Lessons with John are available for electric or acoustic guitar and electric bass. Students may take lessons at our home, or John is willing to travel within the Central Ohio area to meet up with students. John is patient and is able to work with any learning curve. He has taught free guitar lessons to teens since 2005, through our youth ministry, Generation Actz. We are now scheduling lessons starting in May. Please contact us for further details.
