Haugland Learning Center Outreach Program We are dedicated to providing students with excellent, individualized education in the home. Our Core Values

HLC Outreach is a Home-Based Educational Service Program that serves individuals diagnosed with special needs in their homes throughout the entire state of Ohio. Haugland Learning Center has provided autism services to individuals and families since 2004. We currently serve the educational and behavioral needs of over 350 children and young adults with Autism, Asperger syndrome, and other developmental disabilities in the state of Ohio.

Autism is not an excuse for lowered expectations.

2. Every individual with Autism deserves a quality education regardless of their parents’ ability to pay.

3. Good data are needed for accurate decision-making.

4. All behaviors are learned; therefore they can be “un-learned.”

5. Partnerships with parents are necessary to maximize the success for each student.

6. We only hire staff who are patient, kind and adhere to an analytic approach to improving the lives of the students we educate.
